OCSTC Holiday Party: Robbins Nest Bistro Reception and Virtual Food Drive
Join us at this year's OCSTC holiday party, a reception at the Robbins Nest Bistro. We warmly extend this invitation to our members, their significant others, family, and friends to join in the celebration, at the member rate of only $20.
In addition to the reception, OCSTC is partnering with Second Harvest of Orange County for a virtual food drive. Through the virtual food drive, you can go online to choose food items that will be used to help many people in need. The virtual food drive link is: http://vad.techbridge.org/vadxml.cfm?driveid=48194 . You can share this link with your work associates, friends and family to help make this drive a big success. Donations to Second Harvest are tax deductible.
We are excited to celebrate the holidays together, and offer this final OCSTC networking opportunity of 2016. It's been a great year for our community, and we're looking forward to 2017!
The following will be served family-style:
- Small plates
- Flat breads
- Caprese salad
- Hors d'oevres
Beverages are not included, but you may purchase drinks from the Robbins Nest well-stocked bar. (A 20% gratuity will be added to each tab.)
We are happy to offer the same price of $20 to both members and non-members of OCSTC. Please register early, since we cannot accept walk-ins for this event. Registration closes at midnight, Sunday 11/13.
About the Venue
The Robbins Nest is a bistro and wine bar located in a recently refurbished historic building in Downtown Santa Ana (known as DTSA). The brick interior and artwork make the Robbins Nest a cool and cozy spot for conversation.
Find out more about the Robbins Nest Bistro here: http://www.robbinsnestwinebar.com
NOTE: The Venue address is listed on 2nd Street but that is really a pedestrian plaza. Look for the Robbins Nest signage from 3rd street with the entrance at the inside corner of the small parking lot.
There are several parking options. A cash-only parking structure is located on the corner of Broadway and 3rd Street right across from the venue. A small parking lot is adjacent to the venue on the corner of 3rd Street and Sycamore. The cost varies but it should be $4 on Tuesdays. In addition, there is metered parking on 3rd Street and Sycamore. The cost is $1.50 per hour and free after 8:00 pm. The meters accept credit cards.
