Breakfast Networking with Mike Sanders: "Power Job Searching"
This is the first meeting in OCSTC's new monthly series: Breakfast Networking with Mike Sanders.
Job searching for the professional has changed. There are definitely processes that work better than others, since the old "tried and true" method of just sending out resumes to as many openings as possible can actually damage your search. The facilitator for this networking series, Mike Sanders, has done extensive research on the topic and has successfully employed these techniques. He will share this process and proof of success with you.
The use of networking tools, resumes and cover letters are also covered as well as the proper use of placement agencies and job boards. The presentation also discusses the effective and surgical use of networking tools that makes the job hunting process rewarding, developmental, meaningful, and fun. We will raffle off copies of Mike’s book, “Advanced Multitasking” and a consultation for a LinkedIn profile makeover. Handouts of the presentation are included as well.
Hope to see you there!
