Grammar Games 2019
Registration closes at 9 pm on Sunday, February 17.
OCSTC's Inaugural Grammar Games
Do you have a strong preference between the Chicago Manual of Style and the Microsoft Manual of Style? Do you cringe when people use there/their/they're incorrectly? Do you use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in text messages? Then this event is for you: the inaugural OCSTC Grammar Games!
Come to what will surely go down in tech comm history as the greatest battle royale of grammar geeks! Topics competitors will be tested on are: grammar basics; misspelled words; punctuation; common mixups; titles; progressives; pronouns; hyphenation; and etymology.
Think you have the literary chops for the Grammar Games? Then dust off your Elements of Style and get ready to go head-to-head with your fellow writers in this battle of the brains!
Oh and prizes. Winners will receive Amazon gift cards!
Register now to reserve your spot!
Extra points to anyone who discovers any typos or grammatical errors in this event description...any errors were surely intentional...

Location and Parking
7 Hutton Centre Dr.
Santa Ana, California 92707-5794
There is another DoubleTree hotel nearby, so it’s easy to accidentally go to the wrong location if you do a search for “DoubleTree” on your phone, instead of searching for the exact address!
The DoubleTree Club offers complimentary valet parking. If you prefer to self-park, tell the valet that you’re at the hotel for an OCSTC meeting, and ask if you can park yourself.
